DJ Jiggy Joe

On the decks he is already an old hand. JiggyJoe was djing the past eleven years in various clubs with his music. He loves to play various styles of music. This creates a unique mix of rare grooves, Oldshool hip hop, ghetto funk, breakbeat and dubstep.

His sound has now arrived in the big clubs – and not just in Germany. In addition to venues such as the mahagoni bar (Augsburg), Radio Oriente (Karlsruhe) or the KGB Club (Freiburg), is JiggyJoe now also a popular guest at the Orange Rooms (Southampton UK) Cafe de Palma (Madrid, Spain), Boiler Club (Aarau, Switzerland), the Griboedov Club (St. Petersburg, Russia) and the Instant Club (Budapest, Hungary).

Some highlights of his career include guest mix at RampFM and Blue Racoon FM and to get signed at Breakbeat Paradise.

Today, the native of Flensburg, whose real name is Sascha Petersen, successfully for 11 years worked as a DJ. Influenced by artists like Featurecast, A. Skillz, Kid Stretch, Pimpsoul, Basement Freaks, Jayl Funk, Telephunken, he sees the origin of his music in his own youth: „De La Soul and other oldschool hip hop tracks have laid the foundation! Excessive listinging to Ursula 1000 in the nightclub Barfly, brought him to funkybreaks“

The success of his own sounds on the basis of his individual style came with Breakbeat Paradise recordings.. JiggyJoe quickly became a famous DJ who has played together with colleagues such as Jimi Needles, Itchino sound system, Lebrosk, Quincy Jointz, Basement Freaks, Badboe, Smoove, Telephunken, Jayl radio or B-Side.
